Eat Naturally.
The premise is clear: consume natural products and enjoy a healthy Christmas. With this slogan as a banner, in Curridabat on Saturday morning, Pinares in Curridabat, Costa Rica, will hold a free from pesticide fruit and vegetable fair free.
It is called “Bioferia: La Esquina Verde” and it was organized by the National Center for Green Heart Gardening and by the Andar Association, and takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m, adjacent to the College of Psychologists of Costa Rica, located by the “old route” to Tres Rios.
At the BioferÃa you can buy large quantities of fruit such as pineapples, strawberries and blackberries. It also will offer organic potatoes and all the vegetables you need for your salad: like hydroponic lettuce, tomatoes, cherry mustard, purple and green cabbage, cilantro and celery.
It will also offer broccoli, squash, bananas, cassava, two types of bell pepper, basil, thyme, oregano, carrots, beets, leeks, kale and four kinds of lemons.
The black beans for “gallo pinto” cannot be left out, nor the semi-whole or whole wheat bread which is baked the same day.
All products that will be offered at the fair are certified organic and hydroponic and its quality is enforced.
So do not think twice, eat healthier and live the holiday season filled with health and without remorse.
TicosLand.com says, “Take advantage of the moment because it is not always so easy to find these products in all the supermarkets. Go ahead and begin tasting the difference so that you can then demand it from all food stores because demanding something for our health is our right.
